Process to Performance – Webb Bridge Middle

6th – 8th Grades

**You do NOT need to attend Webb Bridge to participate in this class.**
These classes are designed for students 6th - 8th grade who want to move onto the next level and work on their foundation skill set and performance experience. This session will work on improvisation, scene study, physicality, character development, audition techniques. Students will also work on ONE-ACT PLAYS for their PERFORMANCE. Performance fee is not charged, but students are responsible for their costumes if needed.
Extra class/rehearsal time will be added at NO CHARGE in order to prepare for the showcase. We will try to work around students other obligations but encourage attendance. This is a phenomenal class to work skills as well as gain stage experience!
All of the Building Character acting classes are designed to work on life skills as well as instill a love and appreciation of the arts. Our classes will work on helping building self-confidence, creativity, memorization, concentration, and communication skills, all of which are important attributes to develop and keep polished.
Middle School Acting Class – Mondays at Footnotes
Mondays: 6:00pm-7:00pm

AGES: Middle School
Students will develop and polish their skill-set while working on Character Development, Scene Study, Cold Reads, Script Analysis, Audition Techniques, and Improv. They will work on creating believable characters for the stage and the screen.
Our students will work to create characters through exploration and discovery using improv, and script analysis to help them feel confident, live in the moment, and deliver honest responses during auditions and performances.
Students will work with current TV and Film scripts. This class will also help develop confidence in public speaking. It will help develop quick thinking, and memorization skills and will also give a fantastic foundation if your child is looking to start pursuing professional work in the TV/Film industry

Teens From Stage to Screen
